Do not chase losses; a losing week is information, not an invitation. Take breaks, especially during tournaments. If betting has started to feel like a need rather than a choice, tell us and we will pause or close your account the same day, with your balance withdrawn first.

Fewer markets, understood well
Betting on everything is how balances disappear. One or two sports you genuinely follow.
Withdraw winnings the same day
Money left in the balance gets bet. Money in your Easypaisa does not.
No betting on credit, loans or committee money
Ever. This single rule prevents most of the serious harm we have seen.
A rule for bad nights
After two losing bets in a row, close the app for the night. Decide this before the match, not during it.
Warning signs
Signs that betting has stopped being entertainment
- Betting to win back money you lost, or increasing stakes after losses
- Hiding deposits or losses from family
- Borrowing, selling things or delaying bills to deposit
- Betting on sports you do not follow, just to have a bet on
- Feeling restless or irritable when you cannot bet
- Telling yourself the next deposit will fix the previous ones
Two or more of these is reason to pause, not to “be more careful”. Pausing costs nothing. Continuing usually does.

How to pause, limit or close your account

Where to get help in Pakistan
Gambling-specific services in Pakistan are limited, but general mental health and addiction support is available and confidential. The Umang helpline (0311-7786264) offers free counselling. Public and private psychiatric departments, including those at major teaching hospitals in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar, treat behavioural addiction. Internationally, Gamblers Anonymous runs online meetings that anyone can join. Talking to one trusted person is also a start, and it works more often than people expect.
